Building things that outlive us.
"True quality isn't found in the noise; it's found in the quiet persistence of doing things right the first time."
Ekua Asanteba-Mensah is a multi-business CEO based in Accra, Ghana. She leads three ventures spanning real estate, healthcare, and eyewear — Mena Homes, Dixxons Pharmacy, and Opto Vision with Kimathi Eyewear — each built around a single conviction: that quality is not a luxury, it's a standard.
Through Mena Homes, she develops residential and commercial properties for people who want a home they can trust, not just afford. Through Dixxons Pharmacy, she is expanding access to quality healthcare services in Accra. And through Opto Vision and the Kimathi Eyewear brand, she is building a vision care offering designed for a generation that has largely gone without it.
What connects all three is less about industry and more about intention: the belief that people deserve quality outcomes in their homes, their health, and how they see the world.
She is known for thinking clearly under pressure, building strong teams, and holding a standard that others sometimes think isn't worth the effort. She is currently focused on expanding Kimathi Eyewear internationally while continuing to develop Mena Homes' flagship project, Falcon.
"I am less interested in the fast growth that fades and more committed to the slow, intentional cultivation of value. We don't just build projects; we build legacies."
